About the event

Course Description

Every child who engages in concerning sexual behaviour has a unique story—and a unique path toward healing. Effective treatment is not “one-size-fits-all,” but rather grounded in a comprehensive assessment that considers each child’s age, developmental stage, temperament, experiences of trauma or victimization, and the stability of their current environment. This training equips professionals with practical strategies to uncover the underlying functions of a child’s behaviour and to design tailored interventions that promote safety, growth, and healthy development. Through a blend of therapeutic approaches, creative interventions, and caregiver involvement, participants will gain the skills to foster resilience, support families, and help children move forward with the tools to make safe and healthy choices.
